Sofiero Slott & Slottsträdgård is a former royal palace and one of Sweden's most beautiful castles, situated just north of Helsingborg. The castle is surrounded by stunning parks and gardens, featuring over 10,000 rhododendron plants in 500 different varieties, making it one of the largest collections in Europe. The palace and gardens offer a unique blend of history, natural beauty, and entertainment, with activities such as guided tours, picnic areas, and outdoor concerts. The park also holds a small collection of modern art, and the former royal palace is now used as a restaurant, cafe, and gallery

Activities: We started our Helsingborg with a visit to Sofiero slott and slottsträdgård. "Our children run and play in parks and gardens with royal ancestry and views of Öresund". We let the children decide what to see and do, based on the "Children's map" we received
Highlights: The kids loved the "Barnens Sofiero" playground, playing in the playhouses where real princes and princesses have played. The labyrinth and Prins Oscars sagoskog, where we could hear the small people talk, were also a hit. We had a picnic lunch in the park ✨
