Fredriksdal Museer och Trädgårdar is an open-air museum and landscape garden located in Helsingborg, Sweden. The museum showcases the social and architectural history of Skåne, with around 50 historic buildings, including old farms, water-, saw- and windmills, as well as a small historical quarter with narrow streets and old shops. The botanical garden represents the landscape of Skåne in miniature, with many native plants and species. The museum also features a collection of old domestic animals and a variety of historical crops. Additionally, there is a French garden, an English garden, and a classic rose garden with thousands of fragrant roses. The museum is suitable for visitors of all ages and offers a unique glimpse into the history and culture of the region

Activities: We visited Fredriksdal museer och trädgårdar, where "past, present and future meet in a successful combination". We explored the gardens, the Trollskogen lekområde, and the historical buildings. "Children can borrow stilts and look at the old farm animals in the stable"
Highlights: The kids enjoyed the Trollskogens lekområde, with obstacle courses and tepees. We liked the historical buildings and cottages, the small shop and Ågården. The theater show captured my youngest daughter's attention. We had lunch in Fredriksdal Trädgårdscafé ✨
