Gammelstads kyrkstad, also known as Gammelstad Church Town, is a unique and historic place with around 400 cottages and parish storage houses. The church town is surrounded by red log cabins, creating a picturesque and organized chaos. Visitors can stroll around the alleyways and explore the beautifully adorned church, which has stood since 1492. The church features an impressive altar cabinet that tells the story of the suffering of Christ. Nearby, the Open-air Museum Hägnan offers a glimpse into life in a coastal village between the 18th and 20th centuries, with a variety of activities and experiences for all ages. The museum also features animals such as pigs, goats, rabbits, and hens, making it a great place for families to visit
