Njulla, also known as Nuolja, is a mountain located near the town of Abisko in Norrbotten County, Sweden. It stands out due to its proximity to the main highway between Kiruna and Narvik, Norway. The mountain offers a hiking trail, known as the Ridonjira trail, which is considered one of the easiest routes to the summit. The trail is steep, with an average incline of 40 degrees, and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The north face of the mountain is more challenging, with an average incline of 70 degrees, and is mostly class 4 scrambling. The area is known for its Arctic climate, with temperatures ranging from -15C in January to 7C in July. The treeline is at approximately 600 meters, and above that, hikers are exposed to the elements. Crampons are recommended when walking the trail outside of summer.
