Katthult farm, the filming location of the popular Emil of Lönneberga movies, is a real Småland farm from the 19th century. The farm features cherry trees, lilac bushes, a main house with a flagpole, barn, storeroom, servant's house, outhouse, and large gate, just as described in Astrid Lindgren's stories. Visitors can explore the farm grounds, including the carpenter's workshop where Emil carved, and see the animals that live on the farm, such as horses, pigs, sheep, rabbits, and chickens. There are also tables and benches where families can enjoy a picnic lunch or relax in the idyllic surroundings. The farm shop, Katthultsboden, offers souvenirs, ice cream, coffee, and pastries. Nearby attractions include Gibberydssågen, a renovated old sawmill, and Norra Kvills National Park, which offers beautiful walks through untouched and wild forest
