The Gränna Polarcenter is a museum showcasing the history of polar research, with a focus on the historical north pole expedition of Salomon August Andrée. The museum features exhibitions on historical polar expeditions, including the story of Andrée's ill-fated attempt to fly over the North Pole with a gas balloon. The Polarcenter also includes interactive exhibits, such as an interactive screen providing information on the course of historical expeditions, as well as the status of current expeditions.
