What to expect
Storsjöbadet is a popular destination for families, offering a range of activities for kids. The adventure pool features a waterfall, trampoline, water piste, and three water chutes, while younger children have a pool area with fountains and two small water slides. In the summertime, there is a 50m heated pool, a splash pool for children, and a large playground. The facility also includes a spa section with six different types of saunas, indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis, and an Aufguss experience. The area is accessible, with features such as accessible parking spaces, changing rooms, and a lift for getting in and out of the pools

Things to do in Östersund during summer
Activities: We spent a rainy day at the indoor swimming pool Storsjöbadet, which also has an outdoor pool. The pool isn't hyper-modern, but it's very fresh and just the right size. The older children's favorites were the water slides: Black Hole, Magic Eye and Turbo
