What to expect

Tännforsen is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Sweden, located near Duved in the region Jämtland. It is the biggest waterfall in Sweden regarding volume, with a total drop of 38 meters and a width of approximately 60 meters. The waterfall is surrounded by a unique nature reserve and is classified as a Natura 2000 area. Visitors can enjoy the powerful waterfall from several overlooks, and in winter, the waterfall can freeze, creating an extraordinary sculpture of ice. A walkway, 'Blomsterslingan', of 1 km allows visitors to see the top and bottom of the fall. The area is suitable for families, with a short and relatively easy walk to the waterfall
