Ånn is a village in Åre Municipality, Jämtland, Sweden, located about 30 kilometres from the Norwegian border. The nearby Ånnsjön lake and surrounding wetlands are rich in fish, water birds, and other wildlife, making it a great place to visit with family. The lake is about 59 square kilometres in area and is 525 metres above sea level, with long sandy beaches, pebble beaches, and areas of lush vegetation. The area is also home to ancient petroglyphs and has a history of human habitation dating back to the Stone Age. The village of Ånn has a small population and is surrounded by mountains, forests, and marshes, offering a unique and scenic environment for visitors to explore
