What to expect

Fulufjället National Park offers an exceptional alpine experience with dramatic waterfalls, primeval forests, and brightly colored lichens. The park is home to Sweden's largest waterfall, Njupeskär, with a total height of 93 m, and a free fall of 70 m. It is also a notable location for several species of birds, as well as brown bears and Eurasian lynx. The park has a unique geography, with a high plateau deeply gouged by several rivers, and heaths of brush, grass, and lichens. Visitors can enjoy wide open spaces on cross-country skis, by snowmobile, or from a reindeer hide rug with a cup of hot chocolate. The park is a great place to visit for families, with its stunning natural beauty and variety of activities
