Falu Mine: tips for a family outing in Dalarna

Falu Mine: tips for a family outing in Dalarna
This family's experience:

Activities: We spent several hours at Falu Gruva! We took a guided tour where we put on helmets and rain capes, then got to feel a piece of ore. We went down into the mine shafts. Our daughter insisted on wearing her new winter shoes, which she later regretted as they became both orange-red, muddy and wet

Highlights: The guided tour was great, and it was no problem keeping up with the pace. The kids loved the interactive museum! We got to learn more about copper and how it's used! One of the highlights for our 5 year old was spinning a wheel that made a barrel go up and down and ring a bell ✨
