Bentota

Bentota is a coastal town in Sri Lanka, located in the Galle District of the Southern Province. It is a popular beach resort with a cluster of hotels, villas, and luxury resorts along its lengthy stretches of golden sand. The town has a rich history, with a small Portuguese fort built at the mouth of the Bentota River, which was later converted into a rest house by the British.
