The Temple d’Isurumuniya is a Buddhist temple situated near the Tissa Wewa in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka. It was built by King Devanampiya Tissa and later renovated by King Kasyapa I. The temple features several carvings of special interest, including the Isurumuniya Lovers, Elephant Pond, and The Royal Family. The Isurumuniya Lovers carving is a notable example of early Sri Lankan art and depicts a couple embracing. The temple also features a small stupa and a cave with a viharaya. The Royal Family carving shows five human figures, including King Dutugamunu, and the Elephant Pond carving depicts four elephants bathing.
