Activities: Safaris always take place at sunrise or sunset. We chose a hotel near the park entrance to save time. We first went to a place that was not in our accommodation limit. After a disappointing restaurant, we stopped at a hut on the side of the road and had some delicious Egg-Hoppers
Highlights: We enjoyed the closeness to the park and the unexpected tasty Egg-Hoppers ✨

Activities: We went on a fabulous camping safari in Wilpattu National Park, the largest in Sri Lanka. We slept on the banks of a beautiful little river with bread-eating fish and a resident small crocodile. We spotted a beautiful leopard right by the Jeep, an elephant chewing weed, silhouetted against a purple sunset, a sloth bear charging down the road in front of us, and innumerable birds and deer and monitor lizards
Highlights: The safari was an amazing experience. Arthur enjoyed seeing the animals, especially the leopard, elephant and sloth bear. We loved the camping experience and the beautiful little river ✨
