What to expect

The Palais de Cybèle, also known as Cibeles Palace, is a complex composed of two buildings with white facades located in one of the historical centres of Madrid, Spain. The palace was built on one of the sides of the Plaza de Cibeles in the Los Jerónimos neighbourhood and occupies about 30,000 m2 of what were the old gardens of the Buen Retiro. The building was designed by the young Spanish architects Antonio Palacios and Joaquín Otamendi and features a Neoplateresque façade and Baroque Salamanca evocations. It was formerly the city's main post office and telegraph and telephone headquarters, and is now occupied by the City Council of Madrid, serving as the city hall, and the public cultural centre CentroCentro
