The Museo del Ferrocarril in Madrid is a railway museum located in the old Delicias train station, a magnificent example of 19th-century cast-iron architecture. The museum showcases a charming collection of old trains and carriages, as well as model railway layouts and photographs related to the history of the railway. Visitors can also ride on small trains on a 5-inch gauge track in the CIMAF gardens. The museum features a new Renfe Simulator Room where visitors can experience what it feels like to drive a train, and a 'Railway Territory' model with a network of 850 meters of tracks. The museum is home to the Railway Historical Archives and the Railway Library and Newspaper Library, making it a great place to visit for families and train enthusiasts
