What to expect

Madrid Río is an urban park in Madrid, built along an urban stretch of the Manzanares River. The park has reconnected the northern and southern nature areas of Madrid, and features several dams, pedestrian bridges, and a system of crossings. The water level has been dropped, and accessible wooden boards and fish ladders have been added to encourage the continuity of the underwater fauna along the river. The park has received the Veronica Rudge Green Prize in Urban Design and offers a unique space for connection, recreation, and celebration. Visitors can enjoy the park's natural beauty, walk along the river, and explore the surrounding area
