The Temple Expiatori del Sagrat Cor, also known as the Temple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, is a Roman Catholic church and minor basilica located on the summit of Mount Tibidabo in Barcelona, Catalonia. The church is a mix of Roman and Gothic style, with a neo-byzantine style crypt and a church on the upper level. The temple is topped by a monumental neo-Gothic church accessed by two grand outdoor stairways, and features a central floor with an octagonal dome on eight columns, crowned with an image of the Sacred Heart. The upper church has a square shape with three apses, a large central tower, and four lower towers marking the four corners of the square. Visitors can enjoy spectacular views of the city from the top of the temple. The temple is also near the Tibidabo Amusement Park, which can be a great place to visit with children
