Parc de la Creueta del Coll

Park Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain

What to expect

Parc de la Creueta del Coll is a park in the Gràcia district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The park was created from an abandoned quarry and features a large public bathing pool, a basketball hoop, ping-pong tables, picnic area, children's play area, and a unique sculpture by Eduardo Chillida called 'In Praise of Water' or 'Elogi de l'Aigua', a massive concrete claw suspended by steel cables above a flooded quarry. The park also has another steel sculpture, 'Escultura' (Totem) by Ellsworth Kelly near the entrance gate. The park is a great place for families to spend the day, with plenty of activities and space to enjoy the water and plants
