What to expect

The Magic Fountain of Montjuïc is a spectacular display of colour, light, motion, music and water acrobatics. The fountain is situated below the Palau Nacional on the Montjuïc mountain and near the Plaça d'Espanya and Poble Espanyol de Barcelona. It was constructed for the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition and has been a popular attraction ever since. The fountain can produce around 7 billion light-and-water combinations and features sound-and-light shows with film, classical, and modern music. The Magic Fountain is a must-see when visiting Barcelona and is highly recommended for families
