The cathedral is dedicated to Saint Eulalia, one of Barcelona's patron saints, and her burial place is located in the crypt. Visitors can also explore the cathedral rooftop, which offers interesting views of Barcelona and features a fascinating array of gargoyles and sculptures. The cloister provides a sanctuary for 13 white geese, symbolizing Saint Eulalia's young age at martyrdom
