The Barcelona Aquarium is a great place for families to explore and learn about the deep sea and its inhabitants. The aquarium features 35 different aquariums containing about 11,000 animals belonging to 450 different species. One of the main attractions is the Oceanarium, a unique tank in Europe with a 36-meter diameter, 5 meters deep, and about 4 million liters of water. A spectacular transparent tunnel over 80 meters long allows visitors to cross underneath the Oceanarium and enjoy a spectacular submarine walk. The aquarium also features Mediterranean and tropical aquariums, as well as an interactive space designed for children to learn about the sea world. Additionally, the aquarium offers a unique experience for divers to submerge in the main tank surrounded by sharks and thousands of fish
