Mirador del Río is a viewpoint located 500 meters above a cliff, offering a spectacular panoramic view of Lanzarote and the Chinijo Archipelago. It is one of the most representative architectural works of César Manrique, integrating man's hand in the natural environment. The viewpoint has a unique architecture, with two impressive vaulted windows that provide an extraordinary view of the surrounding landscape. Inside, there are two large sculptures by Manrique and other decorative details typical of the artist. The viewpoint also has a bar-cafeteria area, a souvenir store, and a spiral staircase. The construction of the Mirador del Río took two years and was designed to blend seamlessly with the natural landscape. It is a great place to visit with family and enjoy the stunning views of the island and the archipelago. The viewpoint is also family-friendly, with free admission for children under 7 years old and comfortable high chairs for children in the café. However, it's recommended to dress warmly during the colder months, and external food and beverages are not allowed
