La Tejita is a natural beach in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona, in the south of Tenerife. It is a somewhat dark golden sand beach located in a protected natural area, next to the well-known Montaña Roja, an ancient reddish volcanic crater. The beach is relatively isolated, 1 kilometer long, and has a small cove enabled as a nudist area. It is an ideal place to take a bath, get wet on the shore, take long walks, enjoy the sun, and practice water sports. The beach is popular with windsurfers and has hosted the world championship. It is a natural beach, without many services, frequented by both tourists and residents of the island, whether young people, couples, athletes, and families

Activities: We went to Playa de la Tejita for a few beach hours before our flight. It is a large, grey-black natural beach
Highlights: We found a secluded beach to our liking. We loved the beach because it is framed by a red rock (Montana Roja). The beach is very wide, and "there is sand without end" ✨
