Cala s'Almunia is a beautiful beach located in the municipality of Santanyí, on the Spanish island of Majorca, in the Balearic Islands. The municipality is home to various beaches, including Cala d'Or, Portopetro, and Cala Figuera, which are popular for their scenery. The coast covered by the municipality extends around 35 km along the southeast coast of the island. Santanyí is also home to a protected natural area known as the Mondragó Natural Parc, which offers a variety of landscapes and ecosystems to explore. The area has a rich history, with 172 archaeological sites, evidence of a productive agriculture and farming tradition since at least the Talaiotic period.
