Plaza de España is a magnificent square in Seville, Spain, built for the Ibero-American Exhibition of 1929. The square is semi-circular in shape, symbolizing Spain's embrace of its former colonies, and features a large canal with four beautiful bridges representing the ancient kingdoms of Spain. The square is adorned with 52 benches and mosaics of tiles, depicting all 52 Spanish provinces. Visitors can enjoy boat rides along the canal and take in the stunning architecture, which combines elements of Renaissance Revival and Moorish Revival styles. The square is also home to a large fountain and is surrounded by beautiful gardens and walking paths, making it a great place to visit with family and friends
