What to expect

The World of Birds Wildlife Sanctuary and Monkey Park is a 4-hectare park located in Hout Bay, Cape Town, South Africa. It is home to over 3,000 birds and small animals of 400 different species, presented in more than 100 spacious landscaped walk-through aviaries. The park also features a variety of mammals, including monkeys, meerkats, and porcupines, as well as reptiles such as green iguanas, monitor lizards, and tortoises. The sanctuary serves as a hospital, orphanage, and breeding center for injured birds and animals, and has successfully bred several threatened species, including the Blue Crane, Bald Ibis, and NeNe or Hawaiian Goose. With its tropical garden setting and stunning views of Table Mountain, the Twelve Apostles, and Chapman's Peak, the World of Birds is a paradise for nature lovers and photographers, and a great place for families to visit and learn about wildlife
