Cape Point Nature Reserve is a pristine and unspoiled place located at the south western tip of Africa. The reserve is home to a unique variety of fauna and flora, including the rare Cape mountain zebra and Bontebok, as well as beautiful birds such as the orange-breasted sunbird and pelagic birds. Visitors can enjoy hiking, surfing, angling, picnicking, beaching, and cycling opportunities against the spectacular backdrop of the mountains and coastline of the Cape Peninsula. The reserve is also home to a lighthouse that has been in operation since 1857, offering stunning views of the surrounding coastline. The Flying Dutchman funicular takes visitors to the top of the lighthouse, where they can enjoy panoramic views. The Two Oceans Restaurant and the Food Shop offer delicious meals and snacks, and the Cape Point Logo Store, Cape Point Parks Shop, and LH5 provide a variety of souvenirs. Free guided walks are offered at Cape Point on selected Sunday mornings throughout the year
