What to expect
Aquila Private Game Reserve is a 10,000 hectare conservancy in the southern Karoo, located in the Breede Valley, Western Cape, South Africa. It is home to the Big 5 legends of the wilderness - elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard, and rhino. The reserve offers overnight and day trip safaris, including full day or half day options, as well as horseback safaris and quad bike safaris. Aquila also features a spa with natural products, two heated indoor pools, Jacuzzis, a steam bath, and 12 treatment rooms. The reserve is family-friendly, with kids staying for free, and offers a range of amenities, including a restaurant, bar, and lounge. Aquila is committed to conservation and community upliftment, with various projects and policies aimed at finding the perfect balance between tourism, conservation, and the local community

Activities: We had the chance to experience a safari adventure and witness the Big Five in their natural habitat, including lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, and leopards
Highlights: The kids were amazed by the close encounters with wildlife, especially the thrilling lion fight and the incredible opportunity to see a rhino and her calf up close. The whole family enjoyed the unique experience of seeing Africa's wildlife in such a beautiful and natural setting ✨
