Kropa is a settlement in the Municipality of Radovljica in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia. It is known for its traditional smithies, which produce a variety of decorative metal fittings. The settlement has a rich history of metalworking, with evidence of metalworks from Celtic times in the wider area and the earliest furnaces actually in Kropa from the 14th century onwards. Visitors can explore the historic center, which features imenitne fužinarske hiše, vodne zapornice, and pragovi on the deročem potoku Kroparica. The Kovaški muzej showcases the history of blacksmithing, and the edinstveno ohranjen Vigenjc Vice is a unique example of a blacksmith's workshop. The settlement is also home to two churches, cerkev sv. Lenarta and podružnična cerkev Matere božje. Kropa is often referred to as 'Male Benetke' due to its numerous water canals and bridges
