What to expect

The Snežnik Castle is a well-preserved castle in the Notranjska region, with 19th-century interior furniture in good condition. The castle is built on a rock at the source of the River Obrh and the Brezno spring, and its surroundings have been rearranged into a park with walking and equestrian trails. Only the ground floor of the castle and the park are accessible by wheelchair. The castle's history dates back to the 13th century, and it acquired its present appearance in the second half of the 19th century. Visitors can explore the castle and its surroundings, but taking photos and recording videos is not allowed inside the castle
