Križna Jama cave is a world-renowned water karst cave featuring numerous underground lakes, different animal species, and the location of cave bear archaeological remains. The cave is 8,273 meters long and is considered one of the most beautiful and best-preserved caves in Europe. It has 22 emerald lakes connected by an underground crystal-clear stream, and visitors can explore the cave by boat. The cave is also home to a diverse range of underground fauna, including 45 troglobite species, making it the fourth most biodiverse cave in the world. Visitors can take guided tours of the cave, which include boating on the underground lakes and exploring the cave's unique formations
