What to expect
Križna Cave is one of the most beautiful water tourist caves in Slovenia, featuring 22 emerald lakes connected by a crystal clear underground stream. The cave is home to ancient bones of cave bears and is one of the richest caves in the world in terms of the number of species of real cave animals. Visitors can explore the cave by walking along paths used by cave bears for thousands of years and paddling through the lakes in the karst underground. The cave's lakes with emerald green water are a magical attraction, and the tour includes a boat ride on the first underground lake. The cave is suitable for families, but it is recommended to bring warm clothing and sturdy shoes. The tour is not recommended for people with limited mobility
