Lomnický štít is the second-highest peak in the High Tatras mountains of Slovakia, with an elevation of 2,634 meters above sea level. It is a popular tourist destination, with a cable car connecting the peak to Tatranská Lomnica. The peak offers a unique panoramic view of the surrounding area, including the Belianske Tatras and the Polish plains. A meteorological station and a solar observatory are located at the summit, making it the highest working place in Slovakia. The peak is also home to a natural botanic garden. Visitors can access the peak via several routes, including the Classic route and the Jordanova cesta, which offer stunning views and challenging hiking opportunities
