What to expect

The Bratislava Zoo is a zoo located in the area of Mlynská dolina in the borough Karlova Ves. It covers an area of 96 hectares and is home to over 1270 specimens of 194 animal species. The zoo offers various exhibits, including a breeding facility for South African lions, jaguars, and Sri Lankan leopards, a Primate House for common chimpanzee and Sumatran orangutan, and enclosures for rhinoceroses, kangaroos, zebras, and giraffes. The zoo also features a Dinopark, a unique amusement park with life-sized models of dinosaurs, a 3D cinema, and a paleontological playground. The zoo is involved in several breeding programs and offers educational programs for children and students
