Marina Bay

Marina Bay is a bay located in the Central Area of Singapore, surrounded by the perimeter of four other planning areas. The area surrounding the bay itself is a 360-hectare extension to the adjacent Central Business District. It is also the new downtown of Singapore, built on reclaimed land. The bay is home to several notable buildings, including Gardens by the Bay, the Marina Bay Sands, and the Marina Bay Financial Centre. The area is envisioned as a work-live-play vibrant 24-hour CBD, with a mix of commercial, residential, hotel, and entertainment uses. The Marina Bay area also hosts several events, including the Formula One Singapore Grand Prix and the National Day Parade. The Waterfront Promenade around Marina Bay offers a scenic view of the bay and is a popular spot for walking and relaxation
