Boat Quay

Boat Quay is a historical quay in Singapore situated upstream from the mouth of the Singapore River on its southern bank. It was the busiest part of the old Port of Singapore, handling three-quarters of all shipping business during the 1860s. The area has been carefully conserved and now houses various bars, pubs, and restaurants, making it a great place to visit. The shophouses along the river bank have been restored and are now bustling with shops, restaurants, and bars. The area has undergone redevelopment and now offers a mix of old and new, with uniform structures and retractable fabric canopies, and more open spaces with public seating, providing clear views of the Singapore River
