What to expect
Stara Planina ski resort is a mountain resort and one of the largest centers of winter tourism in Serbia. Located on the slopes of Stara Planina, it is mainly a destination for skiing. The resort has six tracks with a total length of 13 km, with some of them covered by artificial snowing systems, and a total capacity of 2,600 skiers per hour. It is equipped with modern chairlifts and a gondola lift. The resort offers various activities for visitors, including skiing, snowboarding, and hiking. The surrounding area is known for its natural beauty, with vast meadows, river gorges, and valleys, as well as picturesque landscapes covered in dense coniferous forests. The mountain is home to a rich and diverse plant and animal life, including over 200 different bird species and the endangered griffon vulture
