The Trans-Siberian Railway is a railway line that stretches 5,771 miles across Russia between Moscow and Vladivostok. It passes through eight time zones and involves a journey time of seven days. The main route passes through Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, and Ulan-Ude, following the southern shore of Lake Baikal.
