Tower Sighișoara, Mureș, Romania

What to expect

The Clock Tower of Sighișoara is a historic landmark and the main entry point to the citadel. With its 64 meters of height, the tower is visible from almost every corner of the city. It was built in the 14th century as a simple gate tower and has undergone several restorations, including the addition of a balcony and a baroque roof with five turrets. The tower features a unique clock with puppets and offers stunning views of the city from its observation deck. The Clock Tower is also home to the History Museum of Sighișoara, which displays archaeological pieces, rural furniture, and other exhibits.
