Qatar Desert

The Qatar Desert is a desert located in the Al Shamal region of Qatar. Al Shamal Beach is a beautiful destination with shallow water, perfect for wading and young children. The beach has shade covers, fixed benches, and plenty of showers and washrooms. It's a great place to walk, run, and have fun, with breathtaking sunsets. The town of Al Shamal is bordered by Al Khor to the south and the Gulf waters to the north. The municipality has a rich history, with evidence of ancient settlements and trade. The area is home to several forts, beaches, and national parks, including Umm Tais National Park, which is a habitat for marine and bird life. Al Shamal is also home to the Al Shamal Sports Club Stadium and several women's only beaches, such as Al Mamlha. The municipality has a population of around 8,794 people and covers an area of 859.8 km2
