The Museu de Artes Decorativas is a museum located in Viana do Castelo, showcasing a valuable collection of old Portuguese faience pieces from the 17th to the 19th centuries. The museum is housed in an 18th-century mansion and features a collection of paintings, drawings, Indo-Portuguese furniture, and Portuguese and Hispanic-Arabic tiles. Visitors can also see a number of examples from the famous Viana do Castelo pottery factory, recognized by their blue paint. The museum has a rich collection of faianças portuguesas, cerâmica, and azulejos, making it a great place to visit for those interested in decorative arts

Activities: We visited the Museu de Artes Decorativas, which was the home of a rich Portuguese person from the 18th century. We saw some beautiful azulejos, an interesting exhibition on plaster decorations, and some richly sculpted furniture. The museum was under construction during our visit
