Levada Ribeira da Janela is a 13 km levada that takes you to the interior of the unique valley of Ribeira da Janela. Along the way, there are several tunnels that make this a different experience. The ground inside the tunnel can be slippery and there can be some water falling from the rocks. The levada offers fantastic scenery with unique flora and fauna of Madeira Island. At the end, you reach Ribeira da Janela, where you can enjoy the view dominated by large rocks and pure, crystal water forming several ponds. It's a great place for a picnic, relaxation, and rest. The area is also famous for its fertility and the dense Laurissilva Forest
