The area is classified as a Partial Natural Reserve, with rare plants and diverse fauna, including protected sea birds. Visitors can hike the 6-kilometer round trip trail known as Vereda da Ponta de São Lourenço to discover the natural and scenic richness of this peninsula. The trail offers stunning views of coastal cliffs and different shades of blue within the ocean, making it a great place to visit for families and nature lovers
