La Pointe de São Lourenço, also known as Ponta de São Lourenço, is a volcanic peninsula located at the easternmost point of the island of Madeira, Portugal. It features a unique and imposing scenery with panoramic views over the north and south sides of the island, and is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including rare plants, sea birds, and sea lions. The peninsula has a semi-arid climate and is mostly devoid of vegetation, with creepers being the dominant type of plant. A 6-kilometre round trip trail, known as Vereda da Ponta de São Lourenço, allows visitors to discover the natural and scenic richness of the area
