Praia de Valmitão is a maritime beach in the municipality of Lourinhã, located on the coast of Portugal. The beach has a long sand of about 1.5 Km and is bathed by a rough sea, making it suitable for nautical sports such as surfing, diving, and underwater fishing. The beach is also a popular spot for surfers and underwater fishermen. On the south cliff, there are partial traces of an iron incineration necropolis dating from the sixth century before Christ. The beach is lifeguarded during the bathing season and has amenities such as showers, outdoor parking, a bar, and a restaurant
