What to expect
Dino Parque Lourinhã is a theme park and the largest open-air dinosaur exhibition in Europe, featuring over 200 life-sized models of dinosaurs and other animals. The park offers a journey through different periods of dinosaur history, with five outdoor trails and a variety of species to discover. Visitors can explore the Cretaceous trail, which includes the Giganotosaurus and Gigantoraptor, and learn about the history of these prehistoric creatures. The park also offers activities and educational experiences, such as the Paleontologist for a Day program, and has a shop and restaurant on site. Activities: We visited Dino Parque, "the most beautiful we have ever visited." We walked through a circuit with "superb" life-size dinosaur replicas in a pine forest. We also enjoyed the "spots photos and playgrounds" along the way. The children participated in a workshop and purchased geodes
Highlights: The children loved the "joy" of being "chased" and playing. "The gentleness of the people present" was greatly appreciated, especially compared to a previous bad experience elsewhere. The children loved choosing and breaking the geodes and were thrilled with the kindness of the staff ✨
