Activities: We went to the Monument of Discoveries. It's located along the river where ships set off to explore and trade with India and the Orient. We saw the main statue of Henry the Navigator and the figures of history of discoveries

Highlights: The monument celebrates the Portuguese Age of Discovery in the 15th and 16th centuries. We enjoyed seeing the map of the world engraved on the ground, and imagining the sailors setting off into the unknown. It made sense for the children thanks to our visit to the World of Discoveries museum in Porto ✨

Activities: We visited the Monument of the Discoveries, a giant monument on the Tagus River celebrating Portuguese explorers from the 15th and 16th centuries. We saw the explorers' figures on the sides of the monument and the planisphere on the ground depicting the maritime conquests

Highlights: The kids found the monument's shape and the explorers' figures very interesting. We also enjoyed learning about the history of Portuguese exploration ✨
