The Bacalhôa Buddha Eden is a 35-hectare oriental garden located in Bombarral, Portugal. It was created in protest against the destruction of the Buddhas of Banyan and features a variety of sculptures, including Buddhas, pagodas, and terracotta statues. The garden has a central staircase with golden Buddhas, a lake with KOI fish and sculpted dragons, and several other areas, such as the Modern and Contemporary Sculpture Garden and the African Sculpture Garden. The garden is a peaceful and tranquil place, ideal for a family visit, with a restaurant and snack bar on site. The garden also offers a train tour, which is free for children up to 3 years old. No picnics are allowed within the garden, but there are litter bins and restrooms available
