Praia do Barril

Praia do Barril is a magnificent beach with a boundless sandy expanse and calm, excellent water temperatures. It is part of the Ria Formosa Natural Park and features a unique anchor cemetery with over 100 rusting anchors in the sand. The beach is suitable for families with children, with soft sands, calm sea waters, and supervised by lifeguards during the summer season. The beach also offers tourist facilities, including restaurants, bars, and sunshade rentals.
